Is WordPress hard to manage?
No, once it is set up, you can modify the site using WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) editors. Once you get the basics, it is quite easy to change anything from words on the page to the over all look and feel.
Is WordPress just for individuals and small businesses?
No, big organizations like The New Yorker, BBC America, Variety, Sony Music, Beyonce and the list goes on and on.
Is WordPress just for Blogs?
No, WordPress can be used from anything from Storefront to Portfolio to Blogs. This site is actually a WordPress site.
Is WordPress expensive?
No, WordPress is Open Source and is free. However there is some cost based on needs with hosting, domain name, development etc. If you want basic blog you can you WordPress.com (ad supported) for FREE. If you want something you can customize yourself, then you will need to self/managed hosting option. Some hosting companies (like bluehost) can setup a site for as little as $2.75 a month. This might be a good option for you, but likely why you are reading through this is you need help.
Is WordPress “Responsive”? Why should I care?
Yes, you should care if your site is Responsive. Essentially a website is responsive, if it responds and displays great whether it is on a desktop computer or your smart phone. Most modern wordpress themes are responsive so you don’t have to think about it.
Is WordPress liked by the Search engines?
Yes, WordPress is what is called SEO (Search Engine Optimized). Google, Bing, etc. love WordPress.
